Description

This is an introductory course in circuit analysis and design. Topics covered include: electric circuit variables, basic circuit elements, resistors, capacitors, inductors, operational amplifiers, and power sources; Kirchhoff ’s current and voltage laws, node and mesh analysis, source transformations; Thevenin and Norton circuit equivalents, Superposition; Transient response of RL, RC, and RLC circuits; maximum power transfer, and sinusoidal steady-state analysis.

Prerequisite(s)

MATH 201 Calculus II and PHYS 201 General Physics II.
