Description

This course provides fundamental concepts of applied statistics for engineers and scientists as a powerful problem-solving tool for further studies. Topics include general probability theories; randomness, distributions, expected values and other metrics; hypothesis testing, chi-square analysis, test of significance; sampling random processes; regression and correlation analysis, linear mean-square estimates, curve fitting.
