This course is the first course required in the study of dynamic systems, suitable for undergraduate students in the fields of aerospace, bio, civil and mechanical engineering, etc. The objective of this course is to equip students with certain level skills for modeling and simulating mechatronics and controls systems. The following topics will be discussed: State space representation for linear and nonlinear dynamic systems; Simulation of dynamic systems; Transfer function representation for dynamic systems; Stability and time constants of transient time response; Steady state response to harmonic excitation, amplitude and phase frequency response; Transfer function and state space representation for RLC and op-amp electrical circuits; Implement of a feedback control system.
