Human resource management serves as an essential component part of the organization operation. This course provides students with a clear overview of basic concepts and principles in the field of HR managements, trying get students involved in the academia and preparing students for further concentration on HR management. Presenting students with large amounts of information from different aspects, this course will further be divided into five parts, 1) the human resource environment, 2) acquiring, training, and developing human resources, 3) assessing and improving performance, 4) compensating human resources, and 5) meeting other HR goals.
