Description

This course introduces students to the major religions of the world. We will examinethehistorical aspects of the important religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Daoism, Confucianism, Shinto, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, andIslam, as well as modern day philosophies. The goal is not only to gain a general overviewof thesereligions, but to understand the different practices and philosophies within the context of their origins.
