Description

This course provides an introduction to essential concepts of auditing. It aims to provide the students with the knowledge of and skills for practical auditing. A wide range of topics will be covered, including professional auditing standards and law, auditor’s ethics and responsibilities, audit planning and risk assessment, internal controls, substantive testing and audit reporting. Students will develop critical thinking and learn to apply appropriate audit methods in the planning, execution and reporting of audit engagements.
