Description

This course will explore world history from prehistoric to present times. We will attempt to look at the history of the world in order to understand the emergence of civilizations, societies, religions, and cultures, and to recognize the connections between different peoples and across time. We will look at the social bonds and conflicts created by culture, religion, and trade. The main goal will understand the main trends in world history from its beginning until early modern times.
