Description

The goal of this course is to enable students to be familiar with the basic mathematical probability, the purpose of which is to model real-life situations that involve uncertainty. The following topics will be included in the course: experiments with random outcomes, conditional probability and independence, random variables, approximations of the binomial distribution, transforms and transformations, joint distribution of random variables, sums and symmetry, expectation and variance in the multivariate setting, tail bounds and limit theorems, conditional distribution.
