Description

General Physics I aims to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the laws of physics with applications to our everyday life and students’ major. Students will examine the following topics, including: Newton's laws; gravitation; mechanics, kinematics; energy and momentum conservation, rotational motion, and angular momentum conservation; simple harmonic motion; mechanical waves; fluids; ideal gas law; heat and the first and second laws of thermodynamics. This course also serves to develop cognitive and analytical skills, which can be applied in all majors
