Description

This course is designed to illustrate the many aspects of physics that pervade environmental processes in our everyday lives and in naturally occurring phenomena. As it is designed for nonscience majors, it will provide basic concepts which includes Heat engine, energy supply and consumption, nuclear fission and fusion, renewable energy resources, fossil fuels, acid rain, climate change and basic physical principles as applied to environmental issues. 8 laboratory includes.
